I am enormously grateful for the time I spent in Thurman E. Scott’s Master Class at the Actors Theatre Workshop. His teachings are powerful and extremely relevant to achieving fulfillment and success in any arena of life. He was a nurturing and inspiring guide on my journey toward personal and professional growth and development.

Simply put, The Actors Theatre Workshop has changed my life as an artist. I attribute much of my growth, not only as an actor, but also as a person to my time spent working with Thurman E. Scott in the Master Class. I consider ATW my artistic home; I’ve always been drawn to the sense of community that it provides. I wish everyone I know could experience ATW, because it’s been a truly priceless one for me.

Thurman E. Scott is a theatrical treasure, exceptionally gifted in all areas of the theatre. He is a spirited actor, powerful teacher, compassionate director, and compelling writer. The theatre can definitely use more talented human beings like Thurman E. Scott.

I gained the confidence to attempt and complete large complex projects such as writing, directing and producing my first feature film. The legacy of the Actors Theatre Workshop has improved every aspect of my life. I recommend it to every actor and creative.

Mr. Scott has touched my life in a way that no other acting teacher has. You come out of his class emotionally and mentally stronger with a self assuredness and a sense of empowerment that may have been latent going in. I am extremely thankful to have had the opportunity to study with Mr. Scott.
